Editorial Policy

ECMSource aims to publish clear, useful, and verifiable market information. This policy explains the standards applied to our news coverage and educational articles.

Sources and verification

We prefer primary sources: regulatory filings, company investor-relations materials, government statistics, central-bank releases, and exchange notices. Breaking-news reports may help identify a story, but central factual claims should be corroborated with an authoritative source whenever one is available. Sources are linked in the article so readers can inspect the underlying material.

Analysis and uncertainty

Articles distinguish reported facts from calculations, scenarios, and interpretation. Market prices and economic data should include an “as of” date or period. Forecasts, estimates, and illustrative calculations are labeled as such. We do not present hypothetical outcomes as completed events.

Automation and AI

ECMSource uses automated tools to discover topics, organize research, draft text, and create representative editorial images. Articles must still add reader value through explanation, comparison, calculation, context, or synthesis. We do not publish copied articles, lightly rewritten source material, or fabricated quotations, data, credentials, or sources.

Conflicts, referrals, and investing language

Commercial or referral relationships are disclosed where they appear. Educational content does not promise returns or tell an individual to buy or sell a security. Coverage is for general information and is not personalized investment advice.

Corrections

Material factual errors should be corrected promptly. Substantive corrections should be explained on the affected page when they change the article’s meaning. See the Corrections Policy.
